SHOOT THE MOO:
Our amazing Shoot The Moo competition returns for its 4th year! Shoot The Moo encourages budding photographers to submit their best work to win the chance to shoot The Wombats from the photography pit, under the guidance of our official GTM photographers. Stay tuned to the GTM socials and www.shoothemoo.com for updates.

GTM is a licensed, all ages event BUT if you’re under 16 years of age, you need to check with your parents before buying your ticket.

It’s up to parents to consider whether the event is appropriate for their child. GTM also suggests any children under 16 years of age who attend are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. We are expecting a big excitable crowd so it’s probably not the best place to bring small children, toddlers and infants.

Thursday, 15. December 2016, Melbourne, Fed Square Live with Aeora + Dear Plastic

Event description
Fed Square Live continues this summer with a blistering line up of indie, electronica and soul performances by Australia’s independent and emerging acts.

On Thursday 15 December Melbourne’s Lisa Spencer aka Aeora and 5 piece Melbourne band Dear Plastic will be taking the stage.

Aeora
In her exploration of different beats and learning how to manipulate vocal tracks, Melbourne’s Lisa Spencer became Aeora. Drawing together experiences as a teenager, where Spencer focused on country singing techniques, and the admiration of strong female vocalists, Aeora delved deeper into her bedroom production techniques. Securing a management deal Riot Export Records, Aeora worked with Owen Rabbit on her track dark pop track, “Medicine”, and released her debut EP ALT, with producer Guy Louis Faletolu, in July 2016.

Dear Plastic
Dear Plastic is a 5-piece Melbourne band that is part Avant pop, part trip hop. The band combines homemade textured beats and lush, dark soundscapes with 'baroque' vocals that are world-weary and velvet one moment, shimmering and playful the next. If you’re into Radiohead or Portishead, you’re going to love Dear Plastic.

Enjoy summer nights in the city with free live music at The Square on selected Thursday's until 16 February!
