_________________________________

CULTURE SHOCK is an anarcho-punk / ska punk band formed in Warminster, Wiltshire, England, in 1986 by **** Lucas of Subhumans U.K..

Over their initial four-year history the band played hundreds of gigs, including frequent appearances at free festivals, and released three studio albums on the Bluurg record label.

Lucas’ lyrics are mostly concerned with social and political issues, from cruelty to animals, Northern Ireland, war, and social alienation, but are far from angry rants, often finding a positive and empowering perspective.

Since their reformation in 2013 they have released a much acclaimed new album 'Attention Span' which was recorded at Nine Volt Leap Recording Studio / Invada Studios and is available now on Alternative Tentacles Records.
