Miles Cleret has been DJ’ing, record collecting and traveling the world in search of all kinds of music for over 20 years. Founder of the internationally renowned Soundway Records. Most recently he compiled and released "Doing It In Lagos - Boogie, Pop & Disco in 1980s Nigeria" and Soundway was nominated Best Label of 2016 at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards in London.

Miles's DJ sets these days can swing from rare African and Caribbean disco, Soca-disco-dub, Afro-pop, Afrobeat, Electro-Cumbia and Brazilian Samba, electro Highlife & Soukous edits and Afro House alongside remixes, edits and tropical music of one kind or another and of course there's always room for classic disco, boogie & funk . Miles cuts his own edits directly to dubplate at The Carvery in London run by long-time collaborator Frankie Francis from tropical London club outfit Sofrito.

As well as uncovering and discovering old music he has been involved in remixing and editing as one half of Los Hermanos Latinos (with Quantic) and Hide and Smile (With Frankie Francis of Sofrito).

For his Nudge afternoon debut come early, Miles will be playing a super rare all vinyl Boogie and Funk / Disco set from all around the world – taking Nudge to Africa and beyond.

The Sydney-born DJ of Spanish origin first came to our attention in the 90’s when no party was complete without his name. He now calls the Northern Rivers home and most recently performed at Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival. El toro is renowned for his unique style of music and passion at what he does. His ability to play a diverse range of music sees him DJ at both large scale and underground parties around the country and overseas.

As a music producer / remixer Abel el’ toro’s credits include: Paul Mac, Sleek the Elite (Fat Pizza), Sophie Monk, & Funk D’Void U.K.

Abel has regularly been one of the local highlights for Sydney’s Big Day Out and Homebake music festivals. He has performed live DJ mixes for radio Triple J & Nova 96.9 FM. He’s played amongst the best supporting live at the Hordern Pavillion; The Chemical Brothers & Primal Scream as well as; Carl ***, The Black Eyed Peas, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, The ORB, The Shamen, DJ Sasha & John Digweed.

Dale is an Australian DJ, producer, musician, promoter, and electronic music enthusiast, currently based in Byron Bay of Australia.

Dale works locally, nationally and internationally as a DJ, musician and producer providing memorable experiences. His sets consist of lounge, balearic, dub, soul, funk, deep disco and house interspersed with his own lauded edits and original tracks.



Sut has been collecting records since a nipper and has delighted music lovers across the globe with his sets breaking the confines of genre.

With a varied and deep musical taste, Sut knows how to gratify and satisfy with an effortless blend of chill, dub, soul, funk, electronic, cosmic, leftfield, disco, indie and house.

If you want one word it’s Balearic. If you need two, add eclectic.

Sut is the founder of Cunning Stunts and the weekly radio show Solar Love Machine on BAY FM.

He has supported internationally renowned DJ’s and live acts including faze action, kid kenobi, chris coco, graeme park, phil smart, fat freddy's drop, tijuana cartel & pitch black.

There are limited spaces available for students who want to participate in the PwC Industry Innovation Challenge on a not-for-credit basis:

This is a unique and valuable opportunity for you to engage with representatives from PwC and gain experience that will be recognised in Career Ready Advantage.

What’s it all about?
Partnering with PwC for Winter 2017, students work in multi-disciplinary teams to complete a project challenge designed by PWC.

The Winter 2017 Challenge focuses on sustainable cities, with a focus on transport, health provision and a carbon neutral footprint. Each team is guided by a postgraduate mentor and receives the project brief and project feedback from industry representatives. You will also gain professional teamwork skills training through an exclusive partnership with Groupwork Institute of Australia.

The Challenge culminates with each team pitching their Challenge solution to PwC.

What's involved?
• Teamwork Skills Workshop (3 hours): Tuesday 27 June, 10am-1pm or 2pm – 5pm
• Project Briefing: Friday 30 June, 2-3pm at PwC, Southbank
• Work on campus in your team on the Challenge: Monday 3 July – Thursday 6 July
